Joe Radinovich Announced as
Principal at Apparatus

Radinovich joins the Minneapolis-based public affairs firm to expand

scope of strategic political, policy, and communications services

Minneapolis, MN – January 6, 2020: Apparatus GBC (apparatusmn.org), a public affairs firm specializing in political, policy, and communications strategies that advance the common good, announced today the addition of Joe Radinovich as a principal at the company.

"Joining Apparatus as a principal is the formalization of a longstanding collaborative relationship that has proven highly productive and successful across a range of issues and projects over the last several years," Radinovich said. "Apparatus has established itself as the most innovative public affairs practice in the region in terms of strategic creativity, multidisciplinarity of practice, and commitment to advancing the social good. I can't imagine any team I'd feel more at home with, and I look forward to contributing my experience and skillset to expand the types of strategic services we offer our clients to give them an edge, whether their campaign is in the public sphere or in the halls of government."

Radinovich is well known for his extensive political and campaign experience including previously serving as the youngest member of the Minnesota House of Representatives representing his home district in north central Minnesota, serving as campaign manager to Congressman Rick Nolan and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (for whom he subsequently served as Chief of Staff), and running as the Democratic Party's nominee for United States Congress in one of the most closely watched races in the country in 2018. He currently serves as executive director for the Minnesota Hemp Association, a role he will continue as Apparatus' cannabis division, Blunt Strategies (bluntstrategies.com), assumes full management of the Association, including its strategic communications and government relations.

At Apparatus, Radinovich joins founding principals Leili Fatehi and Laura Monn Ginsburg. “When we worked with Joe on the 2017 mayoral race, we saw firsthand his outstanding, outcome-oriented leadership that comes from having directed hundreds of employees and millions of dollars in campaign budgets over the years,” said Fatehi. “Not only does Joe bring a wealth of political and policy experience, he, more importantly, shares in our dedication to working on behalf of organizations, groups, and efforts that seek to improve the health, vitality, and sustainability of our state and region's diverse communities."
